Podcasts

I am trying to subscribe to various Podcasts from Radio NZ and other sites and sometimes it works and other times it only gives me the option to bookmark the folder, I would like it all to go to my google reader account, has anyone else encounter this problem maybe i'm just being a dumb dumb :-(
